You may add students to your system, as well as create new student accounts, directly from the Gradebook for a course.
Note: This option is only available if you have the correct permissions to add students. If you do not see the menu items listed, please contact your system admininistrator.
Click the Gradebook link at the top of the screen, and choose the course to which you want to add the student.
Click Add Student. The Add Student box displays. Note: you may also access the Add Student box through the Configure menu above the list of students.
Check to see if the student is in the database. To do this, enter the student's last name (or a partial name followed by an asterisk (*)) in the Last Name text box, and then click Find. If the student is in the database, highlight the student’s name, and click Enroll. Continue on step 7.
If the student is not in the database, click Create a new student. The Create Student box displays.
Enter the information for the student. Write down (or copy and paste into an email) the password so that you can provide it to your student.
Click Create to create the student.
Click Close to close the Create Student box.
Click OK to acknowledge the confirmation, and click Close to close the Add Student box. The new student will display in the Gradebook grid.
You may also drop (or remove) a student from your course. Depending on your course setup, you may want remove the student from the course. If a student is enrolled in multiple courses, removing a student from one course will not affect enrollment in any other courses.

In the Gradebook, click Drop Student.
Click to select the name of the student.
BrainHoney will prompt you to confirm that you want to drop the student. Click Yes.
